Salty autumn snail cakes for your lunchbox

Salty autumn snail cakes for your lunchbox

It’s official! Autumn is here. The fog already moves around the fields in the morning and at the local market you can see everywhere the colorful pumpkins and fruits. Well, it’s time for homemade cooking! And what suits better than salty cake snails?

The little snakes do not only look amazing when opening the lunchbox, but also taste great. Even the little ones love them. To avoid crumbs we roll them to tiny little cute snakes. Add a red, juicy apple and some nuts for the dessert and you have the perfect autumn lunch for your kid.

You need:

• Pizza dough

• 3 Green onions

• Diced bacon

• Sour Cream

•Salt and Pepper

And here is how you roll your little snakes:

Roll out the dough and spread with sour cream. Now cut the spring onions into liitle rings and spread together with the bacon cubes on the sour cream. Then roll up the dough from the long side and cut into 2-3 cm wide slices with a sharp knife. Now you can carefully place the slices on a tray covered with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 220 ° C for about 20 minutes.

Pssssst: The salty snakes also taste delicious while still warm from the oven for dinner with a mixed salad. And those who plan smartly just put aside a few pieces for the lunch break the next day, before your toddlers eat them all :)

Enjoy your meal !
