Mother's Day: an easy DIY idea using personalised stickers
It's almost Mother's Day! To help all the men stressing around the supermarket, the flower shop and the chocolate aisle, we’ve got two very simple DIY ideas here at Stickerkid. They can be made in collaboration with your children in less than 10 minutes and they’re super easy to decorate with lovely, customisable stickers.

Let's be honest, ladies. Flowers and chocolates are nice, but what we really want is a little ‘me-time’, right? And we’re not talking about the 5 minutes of peace we get when we're in the bathroom!
To help spoil you, we’ve combined only the best of the best into a wonderful body scrub. This not only scrubs away the stress of everyday life, but also does something good for skin that is still a bit rough from winter. Sounds good, doesn't it?
To make this DIY body scrub, your men - with the help of your children of course - will need:
- Almond oil
- Sea salt
- Dried rose petals or other flower petals (organic quality)
- Genuine essential rose oil
- Metal tin (with transparent lid/sides is even better!)

All you have to do is to follow these simple instructions:
The children can measure how much sea salt fits into the tin (here it was approx. 80 grams) and then, corresponding with the amount, mix some almond oil (here it was approx. 3 tablespoons), dried rose petals and carefully dosed rose oil (here it was 10 drops) with a spoon. Once all the ingredients are properly mixed, everything can be transferred into the tin. Then, a few dried rose petals are placed on top and as a final touch, a pretty personalised sticker can be stuck to the tin. It’s all done and should smell and look fabulous!

If you don't like the roughness against the skin so much: this body scrub is also just perfect for dissolving into warm bath water. In addition to the salt in your bath, you can light a few candles to make the atmosphere even more relaxing. That’s a great gift for all the mothers in the world!

- A stone
- A piece of wire
- A few beads
- Felt-tip pens
- Glue
Let your children decorate the stone as they wish, using the felt pens, and then thread a few beads onto a piece of wire. With some glue, the wire-construction can be attached to the stone with the help of a slightly larger bead. Now you have a cute card or letter holder that your children can give to their biggest superhero on Father's Day.
