Everyone knows Rudolf, the reindeer with the red nose, but do you also know his little buddies?

With a very simple dough and a few other ingredients, you can create sugar-sweet reindeer biscuits in no time at all. And best of all: your kids can help you, because it's really easy. Promise!

Ingredients for the reindeer cookies:

- 250 g Butter

- 175 g Sugar

- 300 g Flour

- 1 EL Milk

- lemon abrasion

For the decoration you need:

- Chocolate pretzels (if you can't find them in the shop: just dip small salt pretzels in melted chocolate and let them set)

-Sugar eyes

-Red mini Smarties (or other small red sweets such as small red fruit gums)

-Milk chocolate coating

That's how you make your delicious reindeer cookies:

First prepare the dough by mixing the dry ingredients and then quickly kneading in the butter and 1 tbsp milk. The dough should now rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Now roll the dough out on approx. 0.3 cm thickness. Then cut out round biscuits. And now? Bake in the oven at 180°C for about 6-8 minutes. As soon as the cookies are golden yellow, you can take them out of the oven and let them cool down.

The rest is done quickly: brush the biscuits with whole milk couverture and immediately decorated with sugar eyes, chocolate pretzels and red noses.

A small trick still at the edge: so that the antlers do not fall during drying from your cookies, simply push a flat cutting board under the parts. In a few minutes the chocolate coating is solid and you can pull the board out again.

Well? Did you feel like baking the cute reindeer cookies? We are sure that your kids will want to participate with enthusiasm. What are your favorite cookies in Advent?
